Joe Quinsey

CEO

Joe Quinsey joined DCU Educational Trust as CEO in November 2019. In this role, Joe is responsible for the organisation’s overall strategy and future development as it works to build meaningful partnerships with DCU’s supporters to further the university’s mission to transform lives and societies. An accountant by training, Joe has over 20 years’ leadership experience gained in both the not-for-profit and commercial sectors.

Jason Sherlock, Associate Director, DCU Educational Trust

Jason Sherlock

Director of Development

Jason Sherlock joined the DCU Educational Trust team in March 2018. As Director of Development Jason is responsible for developing and implementing the Trust’s overall fundraising strategy.

Ms Claire Whelehan-Pettibone

Director of Philanthropy

Claire Whelehan joined the DCU Educational Trust in September 2005. Her current role as Director of Philanthropy is to develop and maintain a portfolio of individual, corporate and foundation relationships. Claire works closely with the Chief Executive to further the mission and objectives of the university through external funding and offers guidance in establishing and implementing a wide range of advancement policies and procedures.

Pat Edmondson

Director of US Philanthropy

Pat Edmondson joined DCU Educational Trust in August 2016. Her role as Director of US Philanthropy focuses on the development, cultivation and stewarding of a portfolio of both individual and corporate relationships.

Georgina Garford

Development Services Manager

Georgina Garford joined the DCU Educational Trust in June 2013 as a Prospect Research Manager. In her current role as Development Services Manager, Georgina is responsible for managing the Trust’s database, prospect identification, providing research support to the development team and overseeing the prospect management process.

Sinead Murphy

Communications Manager

Sinéad Murphy joined the DCU Educational Trust in January 2017. As Communications Manager, she is responsible for the development and implementation of communications strategy to promote the vision of the organisation and its role in support of the University’s strategic objectives.

Jennifer Hoey

Associate Director

Jennie joined the DCU Educational Trust in September 2019 as an Associate Director. Her role focuses on the development, cultivation and stewarding of a portfolio of corporate and foundation relationships. Jennie’s experience spans across marketing and fundraising in the corporate and not-for-profit sector.

John O’Neill

Finance Manager

John O’Neill joined DCU Educational Trust as Finance Manager in December 2019. In this role, John is responsible for controlling and developing the finance function of the Trust in accordance with legislative requirements and organisational policies and strategies.

Anna Sheeran

Content Editor

Anna joined DCU Educational Trust in December 2022. In her role as Content Editor, she writes for our website, videos, reports and newsletters, supporting the communications activities of the Trust. Before joining our team, Anna worked as a copywriter in areas such as employer branding and retail marketing.

Constanta Moroz

Administrative Officer

Constanta joined DCU in November 2022 as an Administrative Officer. Constanta previously worked as a play centre manager. In her current role with DCU Educational Trust, she supports the team and helps to maintain our databases.

Sabhbh Ní Mhaolagáin

Individual Giving Manager

Sabhbh joined DCU Educational Trust in August 2022. In her role as Individual Giving Manager, she is responsible for implementing regular and individual giving programmes, stewarding a portfolio of individual donors and building relationships with our Alumni. Before joining our team, Sabhbh worked as a membership and development officer in the museum sector.

Dylan Hagan

Development Services Officer

Dylan Hagan joined the DCU Educational Trust in May 2021. In his role as Development Services Officer, he supports the delivery of fundraising activity through prospect research, prospect development and database administration. Dylan holds a BA in Geography and History from DCU.

Caoimhe Creed

Communications and Events Executive

Caoimhe Creed joined the DCU Educational Trust in January 2023. In her role as Communications and Events Executive,  she supports the communications strategy of the trust and assists with event management. Prior to working with the trust, Caoimhe worked in heritage and holds an MSc in library management. 

Gemma Nolan

Gemma Nolan

Associate Director

Gemma joined the DCU Educational Trust in July 2022 as an Associate Director. Her role focuses on the development, cultivation and stewarding of a portfolio of trusts and foundation relationships. Gemma’s experience spans across corporate fundraising, events, PR and marketing in various industries, with a passion for fundraising and development within the not-for-profit sector.

Kyela Fanagan

Corporate Relationship Manager

Kyela Fanagan joined the DCU Educational Trust in July 2023. As Corporate Relationship Manager, Kyela is responsible for developing, cultivating and stewarding a portfolio of philanthropic corporate supporters for the Access to the Workplace programme.

Anna Silvestri

Data Officer

Anna Silvestri joined the DCU Educational Trust in July 2023. In her role as Data Officer, she works with all staff across the Trust to ensure the integrity of the data and systems that underpin the Trust’s work. She has previously worked in both the non-profit and corporate sectors in CRM system administration and business analyst roles.

Dennis Cousins

Associate Director of Corporate Markets

Dennis Cousine joined the DCU Educational Trust as Associate Director of Corporate Markets in May 2023. Dennis works with large domestic and international Corporates and is the Sports Project Lead for DCU Educational Trust. Dennis has significant experience working across multiple sectors including sport, at both national and global level.

Ania Mamorska

Events Manager

Ania Mamorska joined DCU Educational Trust in August 2023. In her role, she is responsible for the organization and delivery of quality events and stewardship activities in support of the Trust’s fundraising objectives.

Ania has over 10 years experience working as a Meetings and Events manager, carrying out the functions of planning, coordination, controlling and delivering strategic and operational targets & goals.
