Paul was Chief Operating Officer for ten years at Ballymore, a large family owned property developer, until 2017. He is also Chairman of the board of The Hermitage Medical Clinic in Dublin. Prior to Ballymore, Paul worked in Staffordshire UK and Savannah Georgia USA for JCB, the iconic equipment manufacturer, first as Worldwide Marketing Director and then promoted to Vice President for The Americas covering Canada, North America, Central and South America.
Before that, Paul was Managing Director of PolyGram Records, PolyGram Video and PolyGram Filmed Entertainment in Ireland working with Irish artists such as Van Morrison, U2, Bob Geldof, The Cranberries, Chris de Burgh, Hothouse Flowers, Paul Brady and Boyzone. Before the record business, Paul worked for Guinness in New York and was Marketing Director for lagers at Guinness Ireland. He was responsible for bringing Budweiser to Ireland, working closing with Anheuser Busch. Paul went to Belvedere College and later graduated with a B.Comm and MBS from UCD. He started a PhD at Staffordshire University and hopes to finish it one day.
Paul currently chairs the Board of the DCU Centre for Family Business, based at DCU Business School.
