Paul Kerley

Biography

Paul Kerley is a serial entrepreneur and investor. He founded Norkom Technologies in 1998, an award-winning provider of financial crime and compliance solutions, serving as the company’s CEO until its acquisition by UK defense firm, BAE Systems Limited, for €217 million in 2011. Throughout his tenure, Paul pursued an aggressive growth strategy, achieving year-on-year profitability through organic and acquisitive growth. He led Norkom’s acquisitions of two technology companies before taking the company public in June 2006 when it was quoted on the Irish and London Stock Exchanges following a successful IPO. 

Paul currently serves on the boards of a number of technology companies including Fenergo, the leading providers of client onboarding lifecycle management solutions for the global financial services industry; SmartBin, a global leader in remote monitoring and management systems for the waste management industry, and MindConnex Learning, a leading provider of educational software solutions.  Prior to Norkom, Paul held senior roles in Capgemini, Amdahl Corporation and System Industries. He was named Technology Person of the Year by the Irish Software Association (ISA) in 2009 and Ernst & Young’s Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year in 2000. Paul is a graduate of Dublin City University.
