DCU Access to the Workplace - Udo, Emilia and Abbvie

DCU’s award-winning Access to the Workplace programme has provided 245
professional summer internships for DCU Access students from socio-
economically disadvantaged backgrounds, and for neurodiverse students, since it
was first launched in 2019. Internships are hosted by leading Irish companies, who
also support Access scholarships at DCU.

In this video, Niall Flanagan, Associate Director of Quality with AbbVie
Clonshaugh, explains why the company was inspired to support DCU Access to
the Workplace, while students Udo and Emilia share why their internships at
AbbVie were an invaluable opportunity.
