Launched in 2015, the DCU Institute for Future Media and Journalism (FuJo) is a pioneering initiative to advance the social and democratic values of journalism in the digital age.
From researching online misinformation in a post-truth era and changing patterns of video consumption, to examining the representation of women in broadcast media, it explores the key challenges and opportunities of 21st century media.
FuJo members combine expertise in journalism and digital media as well as related fields across the social sciences, data and computer science, business and ethics.
The Institute provides an exciting space where media organisations and digital industries work together with students and researchers of journalism and data technologies to explore contemporary media challenges and shape the future of journalism in society.
