Become a Class Champion

We know that peer-to-peer fundraising helps to increase awareness and encourage giving. If you believe in DCU’s mission to transform lives and societies, you can help us spread the word by becoming a Class Champion. 

Class Champions are DCU alumni who inspire their classmates to give back to DCU and provide future students with the same life-changing opportunities shared by our alumni.

Champions make a real difference in our fundraising campaigns by providing:

  • Personal connection: The testimonial of a trusted classmate is more relatable and compelling when it comes to building confidence and encouraging alumni to get involved. 
  • Increased outreach: When you choose to become a Class Champion, we prepare an email campaign to reach your DCU classmates – but our campaigns work best when alumni also reach out to their own online and offline networks. When you start conversations about why you want to support DCU, more people get to hear about the many ways alumni can give back. 
  • Adaptability and flexibility: Champions can adapt fundraising efforts based on personal knowledge of both their audience and DCU, and provide the university with crucial feedback on our appeals from an alumni perspective.
