DCU’s Institute of Education is the first faculty of education in an Irish university, created in 2016 following the incorporation of St Patrick’s College Drumcondra, Mater Dei Institute of Education and the Church of Ireland College of Education.
The Institute brings together more than 4,000 students and 125 full-time academics across all sectors of education from early childhood to primary, post-primary, and further education and training.
